Are your blanks made of PVC?

Absolutely not. Using a diamond to cut PVC will damage your diamond. Additionally, manufacturing PVC with a laser releases toxic fumes, making it extremely hazardous. You should only cut PETG (or sometimes PET), whether it's a clear PETG/PET layer of 100 microns on a coloured disc or a solid PETG/PET disc. Spinner Town Blanks discs are made from solid PETG, ensuring that the chips and swarf match the disc's colour.

It's essential to clarify this because some suppliers may falsely claim their discs are PVC to discourage DIY efforts and maintain control of a monopoly. In response to inquiries about laser cutting PVC based on these claims, we emphasise providing accurate information for safety and well-being.
