This post is a follow-up to our previous blog entry on feedscrew care and maintenance. Unlike many vintage lathes, the feedscrew on the Vinyl Recorder 560 is enclosed within the overhead tube, making access a bit tricky.
Regular cleaning and lubrication of the feedscrew should be part of your maintenance routine. While we only perform this every few months, it’s definitely worth considering—especially if you’ve never done it before.
