We regularly get asked to make people chip jars, and here is a good solution to do it yourself. Ronald over at Gold Coast Magic Records in Australia has made a great chip jar lid with built in filter, and all in one lid that simple fits onto a glass jar with an 85mm throat. Very simple, and definitely worth trying for yourself.
Installation is simple:
1) Print the parts
2) Assemble them (top and bottom face of the lid)
3) Get a glass jar with an 85mm throat with a rubber washer to fit
4) Make sure all hoses are air tight and get cutting.
