Stylus Adaptor

These adapters are designed for users of the 462 and 362 stylus types, with custom versions also available for the DinSync NC-V8 and MC-02 cutterheads. They allow you to use ST120 or 320 styli directly in your cutterhead without modification.

The custom adapters for the MC-02 and NC-V8 eliminate the unnecessary moving mass introduced by a long or short shank protruding from the rear of the stylus mount. They also solve a common problem with standard 462 and 362 styli, if a replacement isn't seated in exactly the same position as the previous one, you risk cutting with a shifted frequency response. Because these adapters remain permanently mounted in the head, that variable is removed entirely.

Please note, adapters do not come with a diamond styli, that must be purchased separately.
